Lisa Behm
Lisa began her healthcare journey after graduating from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. In 2000, she began working for a cutting-edge, fast-paced cosmetic surgery center in Chicago. This is where she discovered her passion in the area of surgery and post-op care. She then expanded upon her skillset by joining a nursing agency in Chicago. This allowed her to gain experience in a variety of areas, including cardiac care, ICU, renal care, orthopedics, mother-baby, as well as hospice care.
In the year 2010, Lisa and her family relocated to sunny Arizona. Since moving to the desert, she has focused on her family and providing in-home direct patient care for post-surgical clients. She believes the one-on-one care helps deliver a model for positive health outcomes, allows nurses to be greater advocates and provides teaching opportunities within the comforts of home.
When not caring for clients, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters and her pets. She stays active with cycle classes, pilates, hiking and running. Among her greatest joys are watching her daughters play soccer, listening to them sing and seeing them bond with “sister time”. Her favorite quiet night in consists of take-out Grimaldi’s and a good action movie.
